Wild Essence soap bars are colorful, smell delicious and look good enough to eat. Tooie became interested in soap making after seeing a demonstration at a craft show in 1990. She was impressed with the use of different colors and natural ingredients. Her interest was peaked because, having spent years living and doing business in Jamaica the Rastafarian Faith has become a major part of her life. The ability to make soap that did not include pig fat or alcohol provided a great opportunity. An artist within her own right, it was important to put her personal art work into her soap making.
